Wounded
Jymalot Music is pleased to announce the release of the latest CD called, Wounded. The release features the band's lead vocals and some interesting acoustic chording. Based on a single theme, Wounded explores the sad and sometimes shocking moments in life's relationships where nothing is safe from harm, not ever. It's a somber spirit, indeed, that moves from track to track. Production associate Greg commented, "it's a CD of heartfelt lyrics born of a world of heartbreak." Something like that. Maybe Greg said it better.
The 13 tracks include 12 original songs with one out-take and one cover tune. "It's A Long Way Home" confronts the confusion when relationships unexpectedly change direction, while "Photograph" exposes the almost overpowering sadness waiting inside the picture frame. "Gonna Fall," a tight, acoustic gem, suggests an ominous result of unwanted change, while "Hang Me High" explores a simple, but dark resolution.
Said Jymalot Music singer Jym, "The CD is full of questions, clues, riddles, innuendo, threats, suggestions, secrets, remorse, regret, anger, hostility, sincerity, desire, longing, pining, misery, depression, confusion, wishes, conviction, and maybe, just maybe, an answer or two."
That Jym is deep, huh?
Available on cassette or CD, Wounded is the ninth release by Jymalot Music.
