Same Difference

And more hits keep happenin'!!!

Jymalot Music announces the Spring 2009 release of the bands 15th CD, called Same Difference. A collection of eleven original songs by Jym, and a cover of the old Stones single, "Under My Thumb," the CD offers yet another display of the band's versatility.

Inspired by his favorite charity, the song, "Nine," features Jym's work on the bass and his tendency to exaggerate numbers. "Carry On," a guitar song, is lyrical poetry and is the source of the CD's title. "Showin' My Toes" offers some toe-tapping social commentary in C, A minor, F, and G. The disc's final tune, "(You Said That You Would) Call Me," is a disturbing two and a half minutes, reflective of the stalker tune, "Rope and Gloves And Knives," from the band's previous release. There is even another eerie harmonica in there. Talented without bounds, on another tune, a 100 year-old piano accompanies Jym's perfect vocals as the singer visits awhile inside a "Memory".

And don't miss Jym's cover tune. "I seldom cover somebody else's stuff, but I love that old Stones tune," said Jym, adding, "I changed one of the verses, and I sing it better than Mick ever did." That Jym, he's so stuck on himself.

Seriously, the songs on this CD are full of humor, harmony, guitars, keyboards, insight, poetry and art. Much the same as Jymalot Music's previous CDs. Only different.
